Positive:

LANDLORD!! The best we’ve ever had, so responsive. Our fridge broke and before the freezer was defrosted, we had a new fridge installed. Same with microwave and any adhoc fixtures. Neighbours are very nice, feels secluded but 6 mins walk from tube station and 5 mins walk from supermarkets. Parking permit available.

Negatives:

The lack of light, there’s one window that brings enough light in but during winter can be annoying but the garden makes a huge difference. The basement studio itself - damp, mould you have to keep on top of it like using alcohol spray and running the dehumidifier all day but overall no massive issues.

Advice for next tenants:

Great for a single or couple on a budget, who just wants their own place and sick of house shares and bad landlords, what you gain in privacy, safety and mental capacity, some of it will be used to maintain the damp at bay.
