Positive:

As a relatively new development, everything is very new and modern. There is 24/7 security and a reception, all of the staff are super friendly and nice. Maintainence is quick and responsive, they always replace any broken appliances with no hassle. High speed Internet is also provided for free. The neighbours all keep to themselves. Apparently there are social events organised in the common space but I have never seen anything happening. Despite how many flats there are, the area is very quiet.

Negatives:

If you live in a flat close to the road, it can be very loud. Stratford is chaos at all hours with sirens, traffic and people shouting. Bills are relatively expensive due to poor energy efficiency and no opportunity to change suppliers (it is all managed by JLL). The building is also poorly insulated so it can get very hot in summer and very cold in winter.

Advice for next tenants:

If you have a flat close to the road buy some earplugs. Be prepared for dealing with how busy Stratford gets when commuting or shopping.
