Negatives:
The window was broken, and stuck open. Landlady refused to fix it during my entire tenancy, even when it was -4 outside in January. I had to fight to get the extractor fan fixed, and the fridge didn’t work for the first month or so. The carpet in the bedroom was disgusting and she originally promised to install a curtain or blind for the window which she then refused to do once I’d signed the tenancy. She tried to take a massive chunk of my deposit when I moved out (I broke the lease after 4 months because I couldn’t stand it anymore), the issues she was claiming were clearly null and void when comparing the inventory and the check out report.
Advice for next tenants:
Don’t rent from this agency or this flat unless you’ve literally got nowhere else to go
