Positive:
Lots of space and a great location in Headingley. The landlord is quick to fix anything important. Garage and garden is a big plus. The neighbours keep to themselves and never complained even when we were noisy late at night.

Negatives:
The house is impossible to keep warm. Look at the EPC, if it was 1 point lower it would be illegal to let out. Somehow the house feels colder than outside most of the time. This makes it pretty grim between the months of October and March. If there is something minor, the landlord isn’t bothered about fixing it and needs nagging (eg. the smoke alarms were broken, going off randomly in the middle of the night, it took him 6 weeks to fix it!). The landlord’s dad will sometimes just randomly turn up unannounced for no reason.
Advice for next tenants:
You’ll need to invest in lots of warm clothes, blankets and heaters.
