Overall
Negatives:
Upstairs neighbours are extremely loud. Agency that looked after the property were aggressive and childish. We had a problem with rats entering the property (they'd chewed through concrete under the sink) it took the agency and landlord around 9 weeks to fix the problem. When the landlord poured concrete to fix the problem, they cut off our electric in the kitchen. Electricians said the electrics there didn't make any sense but had done bits of work for him in the past and he was known to do things a bit weirdly. Complained to the agency about both problems (electric and rats) and were passed on a message saying the landlord would be happy if we left. We also reported the bath was leaking water when the shower was run, landlord attended and said there wasn't a problem. We'd have to leave towels on the floor every time we had a shower or else the bathroom would flood. The toilet was leaking too and which ended up us paying ridiculous amounts to the water company. Again reported, landlord attended, said there wasn't a problem and left.
Advice for next tenants:
Don't live here.
