Positive:
The agents, House and Co were very good and very quick to sort things - no issues with them. The house itself works and was nice enough to live in. Decent space and not too expensive at the time. Neighbours are absolutely wonderful and the community is brilliant. Location is lovely and garden faces an amazing view.
Negatives:
The landlord: 1. Admitted there was a problem with woodlice, but didn't sort it until we threatened to not reup a contract. 2. Has been scummily trying everything in her power to get money off our deposit, including arguing stuff that was ON THE INVENTORY was our stuff. We had the place professionally cleaned to a higher standard than when we arrived, yet she is refusing to respond and forcing us to go through DPS. 3. Kept raising the cost of our rent each term. 4. Did not once set foot in the property. 5. Property has artex and fittings from 1960's. General state of the windows isn't good either and the 'new' decking is unsealed and made to a low standard. 6. Expensive - she was originally charging 895 a month and it's now 1200.
Advice for next tenants:
Go and get a house elsewhere, she has made the entire experience quite unpleasant.
