Overall
Negatives:
Hardly any windows. Feels very much like a basement flat. The listing shows a courtyard that actually belongs to the neighbor that you cannot use. It does include its own courtyard but it’s very small and gets no sun and also doesn’t feel private due to the open gate and so we never used it. Absolutely zero storage aside from kitchen cupboards. If you have a lot of possessions you’ll need to consider storage space (we used an ottoman bed) In the winter the bedroom also got very cold and damp.
Advice for next tenants:
Definitely do not take this place if the reason you're taking it is the sunny courtyard as that does not belong to you. It's okay for a short term tenancy, and the lease we got was 6 months. But I think I would have gone crazy living there any longer due to the lack of natural light and the damp in the bedroom. If I was going to live there any longer I would've asked the landlord to replace the gate with something more private so we could enjoy the small courtyard we did have.
