Positive:
Good size living space, all bedrooms were spacious and lovely garden. Location is fab and neighbours were friendly. Good community and things were fixed timely.
Negatives:
Mold. As with all Bristol properties, but this was to the point where I got ill. It was hidden a lot of the time so was hard to clean away and anything lent on the walls quickly developed mold on it too. It’s a Victorian property so it’s to be expected but the landlord didn’t take my concerns seriously. Landlord was quite aggravated and you had to stay on his good side to have things taken seriously. Luckily we did, so things got sorted but me and previous tenants all have a story of him being difficult on multiple occasions. Threatened to evict us many times.
Advice for next tenants:
If you can deal with the landlord, it’s a no frills property that is very cheap for Bristol. Suitable for one year tenancy but I wouldn’t want to live there longer because of the landlord and the mold. It was worth me moving and paying a bit more to get away from this situation.
